Hello All,

The case of the poisoned Russian continues apace, and everything about the case is strange. Avoiding the politics, I discovered that he has been buried in a specially built coffin inside Highgate Cemetery.

What are people's views on this case? My own view, is that if the intelligence services had spent as much time investigating poor Dr Kelly's demise as this case has received, maybe we would reach the truth. If it is discovered that this man was poisoned on the instructions of the higher echelons of Russian politics, will Blair invade Russia? What could be the reason for the poisoning? Why bury an irradiated body in the ground? Why not store it inside a nuclear bunker?

This case raises more and more questions.

Patsy.

Hi Patsy,

ORIGINAL: songstress

.... probably not, as they or powerful elements among them are far and away the prime and most likely candidates! Kelly's death was a white-wash IMO, so there's precious little Joe and Joan Public can do about that.

Yes David, Dr Kelly's death was a whitewash, no doubt about it. I can't help thinking though, that nobody escapes with their reputations unscathed in this affair, not even the dead man himself.

All very suspicious.

Love,
Patsy.

Hi woodcat,

Yep!Unless Iam very much mistaken, Stephen King did useHighgate Cemetery in one of his novels, I am sure of it. I can't remember the name of it, but I seem to recall King using it. I know that Bram Stoker did, and many of the Hammer Horror films were made there.

Love,
Patsy.

Poor Mr Litvinyenko. He spent much of his life as an agent of the KGB where he buried evidence of communist plots. Ironically, being interred in Highgate Cemetery, in death he has become evidence buried by a communist plot.

I know I am yet again gonna sound like a paranoid nut but what the heck, who stands to gain from accusing the ruskys and what did Putin stand to gain.

Ok the guy was X kgb but if he had secrets surly they would all be left in dead drops with secret codes pointing the way held by white haired guys who limp.

If it was simply that he was bandying accusations about the last thing you do is whack him and give him all that media attention.(and slowly so we can all watch?)

I hadn't heard of him 'til his hair fell out.

Dosen't add up but I haven't got all the figures have I?

jono (grinning in spite of my paranoia)
