Does Trump really believe Ali wouldn't mind him banning muslims? Come on....
No I don't but he cannot admit that. I actually don't think he really believes all Muslim should be banned from the states.
I think his main belief is, "I should be President of the USA and I'll say anything that might get me votes."

Of course...so it's a question of how many can see through this. Probably not his moronic fans!

Do you think it is being moronic? Or is it huge anger against the status quo that leads to a thought that any change is better than continuing as they are? (And, I think, this is observable in some who want to leave the EU.)
Also - he does the Boris Johnson / Nigel Farage thing of "I'm an ordinary guy - the only one who will speak for all you ordinary guys." A total lie, of course. But it appeals to some.
A friend of mine - someone who describes herself as 'not political' - recently said to me, "All politicians are as bad as each other. Except Boris Johnson. He seems a straight forward, nice man." Some people are not moronic. They are just ignorant and innocent.
Yes I do think his supporters are moronic. To tar a whole race like that as being all the same is beyond stupid.
