Chemtrails

Thank you for posting this. I have recently returned from a two day workshop in New Mexico and we were informed about Chem Trails. The theory there is that the Govt's around the world are concerned re the predicted solar flares and using the aluminium as a 'deflector' in the atmosphere. Whatever the reasons behind all this are it is still extremely worrying.
Now that the public are being made more aware of these what can we do about them? Any thoughts on what the 'ordinary' man and woman can do?

Not intending to hijack this thread or its subject, but in reading the Guardian article from the link, I couldn't help but think of how many people refuse to believe in, and mock, ideas about government conspiracies. Especially conspiracies by 'authorities' enacted against their own populations. (For example, the many HP threads on 9/11 which some people have actually left with some apparent heat...) Yet here we have a conspiracy, or rather in the plural - numerous secret experiements - which potentially effected millions of people, admitted to right there in a report high-lighted in a major UK newspaper.

So while it's admitted that chemtrails do exist and have been used (and there's no official denial that they're happening now), I thought the videos were very poor TBH. I tried bits of the final one, "What in the world are they spraying?" - and Part 1 consisted only of synth music and unexplained visuals. There was no spoken or written informational content at all. The others are also lacking in any useful data. While we now know chemtrails and the spraying of our population as a huge experiment or experiments does take place (see Guardian article), the average person may still IMHO get paranoid and mistake long-lasting contrails for chemtrails. In close ups of planes in the videos supposedly releasing chemtrails, they seem to me just to be emissions from the four engines of passenger planes.

It's like YouTube clips I've posted on HP on other topics: links to videos are very beguiling to post on the internet, but are often short on hard informational content. Again, it's the Guardian piece which is the real content here. Interesting indeed.

I was wondering that too Reikiangel....did they have any ideas at the workshop you went to? I was a little nervous about reactions as I posted about this on a local Freecycle group as I was thinking eco-friendly people would read it but got laughed at for promoting conspiracies!! I guess I was hoping that promoting awareness in some way would be the way forward, the net is so good for that...some may start to question. Directly asking politicans about this?

I totally agree with you Venetian, sometimes I guess people will only see what they have agreed is possible within them even if something is clearly evident or happening in front of them. When there is questioning of deeply held beliefs(like 'our govt wouldnt harm us')its a shock and people seem to feel that its a threat to them rather than to their belief.

the youtube clips are a bit lacking in facts. it would be good to find some research on this. like testing levels of these substances from the earth or in people.

Posted this on facebook too and someone replied from the US saying they see the planes every day doing this spraying....they definatly have a pattern in the way they do this as I noticed that when have seen them over here.

I have sent a link of the Guardian article to the people who ran the workshop and asked what can we do, so hopefully someone might hit on a good idea of how 'normal' people can make a difference (unless someone over here comes up with one first lol).

I am horrified at the report in the Guardian. And I can say I am singularly unimpressed by the end of the article:

"Sue Ellison, spokeswoman for Porton Down, said: 'Independent reports by eminent scientists have shown there was no danger to public health from these releases which were carried out to protect the public.
'The results from these trials_ will save lives, should the country or our forces face an attack by chemical and biological weapons.' Asked whether such tests are still being carried out, she said: 'It is not our policy to discuss ongoing research.' "

Sounds very familiar - ref Big Pharma!!

I must admit I have had my concerns about the chemtrails and this confirms them - who would admit them happening now - and why - when their ethic to delude and poison the populace has been their norm??

As to what can be done - letters to our MPs?

The Guardian article is very worrying, but it also seems to be very old (April 2002). Had anyone heard of this before? x

The information I have been reading points to the dispersant being released having several metals and the hope of those doing this (without anyone's permission) is to lower the earths temperature by reflecting the suns radiation. So along with green house gasses keeping the earth from cooling at night, now we have a metallic mixed into the soup.

When you examine that, you have to think "wouldn't it be easier and less expensive to use solar energy for our needs, reduce carbon emissions and be able to breathe? (OMG...a thought just came to me while I was writing this...what if this is to sabotage the solar industry? The biggest threat to big oil? )

But the cooling is not working because it holds back the cooling that would normally take place at night. And is thought to be the cause of the weather changes. Some reports say that the day after chemtrails; there are the tornado swarms that have been happening.

OK...NOW FOR THE GIANT CONSPIRACY! And this blows my mind. This is the stuff movies are made out off. Once the particulates have been inhaled and are in our brains...we will be walking antennas (those of us that don't die from this). Think about the implications of that. Is that the real conspiracy? I am not the creator of these theories, I am just passing them on.

What can we do? I don't know if my home air purifier removes these. I don't know if a face mask would protect me from these. Look at the date of the beginning of this thread? Nothing has changed. The sky is not really blue anymore. Have you looked?

My favorite "wakeup call" movie of all time was and is "Soylent Green" with Charlton Heston (old movie). After watching that and watching the things that have been perpetrated upon the public by the rich and powerful since then...I get it, we are consumers, we are their soylent green. If we are not less than; they can't be more than.

I would believe almost anything.

How can you tell the difference... certainly not by the information in that video.

It states that contrails only last a few seconds behind a plane... that's incorrect. Contrails are caused by the vortices coming from the engines and off the tips of the wings and how the vapour is produced within the atmosphere by those vortices. A personal friend of mine studied these as his PhD project. The amount of vapour produced and the length of time it remains visible is based on many factors including the types of jet engines, the shapes of the wings and their tips, the altitude of the planes, the seasons and the atmospheric conditions and weather. It's perfectly normal for the vapour to last for just seconds in certain conditions and last for hours in other conditions. So that statement of "fact" is blatantly wrong.

It also states that "chemtrails" are aimed at major population areas.
Well considering most commercial jet planes fly between airports which are located in or nearby places of major population, it's no surprise that vapour trails are going to centre around places of major population.

The evidence presented proves nothing and is purely conspiracy hype with no solid foundation.

Yes, the governments have admitted that in times gone by, tests for putting various chemicals in the atmosphere were performed, for various reasons, some as simple as trying to seed clouds to create rain with the hope of being able to potentially help places suffering from droughts. That doesn't mean that such tests are still ongoing every day above every country on the large scale suggested by such conspiracy videos.

It's sad that people are still putting about such onfounded misinformation to create fear in others, especially when we on these forums often talk about how people will attract what they believe, such as how negative thinking will create negativity in your lives.

I've watches many of these videos when people have told me that they are "proving" it... but I've yet to actually see one that does. That's not to say that the governments or other organisations are not performing tests, but I've seen no real evidence to prove it, and I cannot believe it to be on the scale that such videos suggest... those government personnel would be effecting themselves too.

O.K. so the contrails last longer than a few seconds....so what? They look noticeably different to the chemtrails don't they? Surely that's the main point.

First you say there's a conspiracy then you say the government admits putting chemicals in the atmosphere.....I give up! How do we know if it's stopped?
Do you trust the government to tell you the truth?
