I would like to ask the more experienced amongst you a potential stupid if not unanswerable question.
In your experience have you noticed a distinct difference in moods or well being between a client with flat feet compared to a client with high arches.
My reason for asking is this.
I have a theory that people with flat feet are constantly manipulating more reflex areas when walking as opposed to high arches that predominently walk on brain reflexes.
Just a thought and I did say it was probably a stupid question. Trust me I have more.

Comments will be .....interesting

Now I've written it I feel embarrased

Tony

What a wonderful question. I don't know the answer, and I'm not a reflexologist, but I am interested in personality types and posture.

How does this difference manifest itself? ie which personality would you say belongs to which foot type?

Hi Sunflower,

Have you ever come across Moshe Krucknik's book on personality patterns of the feet? This will answer your question.......was reading the other day that people with high arches tend to be more spiritual using third eye etc and people with flat arches would be more practical and look for the logical answer to everything......

My personal feet have very raised arches and I have always walked (no medical reasons) on my tip toes.....from what I am learning both about myself and as i read this book, i have always been able to see more than what can be actually seen if you know what i mean.

Don't feel embarassed Tony. I don't think its a stupid question.

I am an advanced reflexologist, and I can't say that I honestly have ever noticed this before, or even thought about it.
Your theory sounds plausible.
I will make a note to watch this with interest.

Good observations.

I am not a reflexologist but I am scribing for someone who, like me, is lysdexic, and it is an interesting subject although I feel that my friends tutor is making things more difficult than they need to be and is victimising my friend a bit because of her disability... but that is for another topic on another thread....;)

The only person I know that has flat feet also has bone degeneration (hence the flat feet) so I guess she would need stimulation of all the reflex points she can get

Wow Jess 33
I am a reflexologist and have only looked at how the arches of the affect posture and back problems. I have very high arches and my husband has flat feet and we match the description perfectly according to Mosche's book.
Sounds like i need to put this book on my Xmas list too
