Hello, I need to buy a new chair (had second-hand one which needs to be replaced). Someone suggested that I look at the Gelert Recliners as they thought they were good, and they were significantly less expensive than Lafuma.
Would be grateful for any feedback on the Gelerts if anyone has used one.

I am not sure what the link brought up for you but the picture is supposed to be of a reclining chair, and I have checked the link on another computer, which showed the correct link - curious! but I am glad I made you giggle 😉

these look like the lafuma chairs that are padded.
I bought mine years ago from a caravan shop for approx £100 and its still going strong.
Very comfortable, reclines perfectly and its great because you can use any chair to sit on yourself as the feet are at the right height.
look out for the bags you can get to go with them, they are a godsend as they protect your chair and also help to carry them as theres a strap that goes over your shoulder but you can also support it by your hip.
I usually carry mine and my little bag of towels etc and still have a free hand.
Not heard of the make you have quoted but check out the lafumas and compare them. The padded one is very comfortable.
I've also seen similar in Argos for a lot less but they are made of a mesh type material and don't know how comfy they are.
There is someone selling these on Ebay for cheaper than that link! I am sorely tempted as have been looking/wondering about a cheaper alternative too..

I bought the Gelert yesterday and I love it! It's very comfortable and light, also very easy to recline etc. Now I just need to get my 7 year old out of it and I can actually use it. 🙂
