yes, well, i'm not surprised that there's not much tantra in scotland - they probably think its an indian takeaway or something up there!

the south - london, brighton etc - is where you want to be....

in fairness, there isn't that much genuine tantric massage in the south either - what you find tends to be a front for women offering expensive hand relief!

James how rude......:rolleyes:only living 15 miles away from Brighton, i have to say i havent come across...cheap hand jobs;) but then again i guess i have no need for this sort of relief.......i will also have a look into Tantric massage and post what i found later.

Yes more info would be useful.
Tried a tantric massage once before (in the Newcastle area) but it did seem to be going in the direction of just a 'hand job' (beautifully put!).
I'm interested in a more complete experience........

Sorry - my apologies if anyone anywhere is offended. Mind you, i didn't say "cheap", i said "expensive"!

Tantra does have a "bad" name. They wouldn't accept my ad in gumtree - I wrote to ask why, and they said they didn't allow the term "tantric". why the hell not?

The same on places like a US/international massage exchange site, which allows hundreds of other massage modalities, but NOT tantric!

I was talking to a a friend, who wanted a massage and i told her that i did tantric - she told me that a girl friend of hers in Prague also did Tantric, which, she explained, involved hand relief.....

Its not all that exciting - the description my friend got from her the girl that does it went like this:

Yes, it's difficult to find a real stuff. Everybody are just stupidly using these fancy words. I guess nobody really knows what the tantric message really is :p

I would love to try a genuine tantric massage but there seems to be nobody doing it in the swansea or even south wales area

I do Tantric massage in Edinburgh. Tantra is very mis-understood in this country. Most massages you'll come across focus solely on the sexual energy aspect of it and the channeling of this energy. I was taught the basic massage techniques by Mikkyo Buddhists which is a branch of Tantric Buddhism.

A number of HP members have contacted me via my website with questions about Tantra. It's easier to respond to them here rather than individually as most of the questions were the same. I'm in the process of creating a FAQ's page but in the meantime here goes.

Why do you have different levels, only accept female clients for your medium and high level massages, only have testimonials from women, ?

I don't get many male clients and none of them have written testimonials or become regular clients. I also like to keep within the principles of IN/YO (yin/yang). Any male genuinely interested in Tantra will come along with a female partner to learn.

The high, medium and low levels of massage is my own concept so you might not find it elsewhere in Tantra. I do this so that only those genuinely interested in Tantra are catered for. It reduces the chances of me seeing the "quick fix, get me off seekers".

Only those genuinely interested in Tantra will come back to move onto the higher level which covers meditation and full energy channeling techniques as well as the advanced massage techniques. It also takes time for some people to get used to the intensity of the massages so doing it in stages is better for them. Tantra is a progressive learning experience that is more than just massage based or about prolonging or having orgasms.
