Thanks for that!
I've just started my advanced aroma course and have been advised to buy an advanced student kit, however I've only seen them with plastic cases. Does anyone know of anywhere that supplies a reasonably priced wooden box? I've seen a few, but they don't have room to put the carrier oils in.
Cheers!
RE: Aromatherapy Information
Boxman do cases which are quite nice, I got mine from Amphora and bought the oils separately as it worked out cheaper than most other companies on a per bottle basis.
RE: Aromatherapy Information
I got all my oils and original box from Amphora, although it seemed quite expensive, placing a bulk order saved me loads of money in the long run. I thought their service was excellent and am really pleased with the qualitiy of the oils.

Oooh Justine,
How great! Thank you very very much

Gussie, thank you!
As a new Aromatherapy student the list of links you have given for information on oils is fantastic. I have an assignment to do this week on history of Aromatherapy, and (besides my books) I now have a lot of helpful facts at my fingertips.
Also, I can point my nearest and dearest towards the Box Man site .... and who knows what Father Christmas might bring me?:D

RE: Aromatherapy Information
I got a great box with an upper tray for the oils (48) and a lower section to hold carrier oils etc from Base Formula - www.basefomula.com
it also had a great "sundries" dept where I got glass mixing beakers etc.
and very useful labels for the tops of bottles- saves much hunting .
I haven't bought any oils from them but they also have a good range.
was also wondering if there is any way to copy/ link to this topic from the natural remedies section as someone looking for Aromatherapy info might go there first and miss this great mine of information!:)

RE: Aromatherapy Information
Hi Tia
So sorry to hear about the difficult times you have been having.
If you are drawn to aromatherapy, I would recommend that you try it. Make sure you find a good aromatherapist in your area, as there are some brilliant oil blends to help overcome grief and sadness as well as many other problems.
Don't expect one treatment to do the trick though, although this will be a treat. In fact, the grief will need to come out, so you may actually feel worse before you feel better. For the long term benefits, you need to have regular treatments, go with your feelings, drink lots of water, and you will, hopefully come out the other side feeling so much better.

RE: Aromatherapy Information
Just an update. I got my wooden box from Amphora and the extra oils I needed. The box is wonderful, lots of space for base oils and shampoos etc & room for 40 bottles of essential oil. The oils smell good too, they seem to be good quality.
Thanks for the help & info folks!
