It's beautiful - some of them remind me of Thailand, which is also a place I really really recommend!
I've only been to Macau, which is not "mainland China" (ex portuguese colony, like Hong Kong was a British one) and it's a weird place, with loads of casinos, some nice portuguese buildings and some lovely Chinese gardens, temples etc. I also spent one night in Hong-Kong but I can only remember having too many vodka jellies and being really sick! 😉

I've been to China on a TCM study trip to Beijing and then onto HoHot (Inner Mongolia). Loved it!!!
