Hi , does anyone know of a seated massage course in London designed for already qualified therapists ?
i have some chance of working doing some seated work and although i can do a seated massage i would like to learn some of the specific techniques ( accupressure etc) that you often see used.

Anyone done one or know of one ? referably a one day or weekend workshop type.

cheers folks
paul

Hi Paul,

You might also want to contact The Academy of On Site Massage, one of the original schools in training therapists in this fab therapy. I trained with them a year and a half ago and can't recommend them highly enough. They provide courses all round the country on a rolling programme.

Good luck wherever you wish to go!

P.S.

They teach over three weekends, spread over two - three months. You need to do 50 case studies, sit an oral, written and practical exam where you massage a tutor.

Itec do an onsite massage course that lasts about three months. I know that Morley college and City & Islington both offer it for the same price (£200). Perhaps other colleges offer it over weekends?
