HI EVERYONE,
JUST STARTED MY REFLEXOLOGY COURSE VTCT CERTIFICATE AND WOULD LIKE TO ASK THE PEOPLE WHO ARE DOING THE SAME COURSE IF ANY OF YOU KNOW HOW MANY CASE STUDIES ARE YOU REQUIRED TO DO?
LAST YEAR WE WHERE TOLD 2PEOPLE 5 TIMES AND 10 PEOPLE ONCE BUT THIS YEAR WE HAVE BEAN TOLD DIFERENT 5 PEOPLE 6TIMES WHICH IS 10 MORE FROM LAST YEAR AND IT WAS A DIPLOMA LAST YEAR AND NOW IS A CERTIFICATE.
VTCT HAS SAID THAT ALL THE INFORMATION REGARDING THE COURSE IS IN A YELLOW BOOK BUT THERE IS NOTHING ON CASE STUDIES!
WHICH IS NOT MUCH HELP.
IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY INFO ON THE VTCT REF. CERTIFICATE ON CASE STUDIES PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I'm doing this course too & we have been told to do 5 people 6 times but that the clients we take into college for our assessments can be part of these. Our tutor is fantastic & is already encouraging us to practice on potential clients even though we have only been there 3wks. Having done aromatherapy last yr I'd advise taking notes on clients from day one to use in case studies as we had to have an awful lot last yr & its hard work doing it for your portfolio at the end its very time consuming.
I hope your finding it as interesting as me I think it will be a wonderful treatment for anyone to give & recieve.

I did the VTCT Course this year and have just qualified. I had to do 4 case studies with 10 treatments per case study. it was hard going.

I'm also doing reflexology with VTVC and I got told it's 30 hours pratical with 6-8 clients. We also got told we could do it any way possible just as long as we got the required hours. When I did aromatherapy a few years ago, it was a good idea to take notes and then i think it was 3 clients for 4 sessions.
