Yep, I certainly can find the time to read now I've got a whole year of nothing planned (again). It seems as if every time something comes within reach, its taken away again. I've returned to college once, had the course cancelled, finally plucked up courage to do it again to have it taken away again.
I had a look online to see what other courses there are too....see if there were any human physiology classes. There are, but full fee again. If I were a single mum I could get a reduction through the job centre, according to the colleges, maybe it's time I ditched the hubby *roll eyes*
It seems the government want people to get back into work, but dont want them to be trained first. Shortage of bin men and road sweepers perhaps?
I'm sorry for being a moaning minnie, I have a habit of feeling like the sky is falling sometimes.
Had an interesting email about an NVQ level 3 in massage, one night a week again - and in Keighley - so the tutor is phoning me tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be accepted as it says on the website you need your NVQ 2 first. But quietly keeping my fingers crossed. If I am allowed in, it starts on Monday!

Do you have transport? might be worth checking out other part-time courses too (just in case you cant get on this one) Im sure Ive seen some for leeds college - they have places you can go on the outskirts so dont have to go into the centre (I hate driving in leeds)
Look up part-time courses in all the local colleges and do individual searches of massage, reflexology, Indian Head Massage etc etc and see what comes up. Some courses are staggered so they start at different times in the year. So because you may of missed a Sept start you might be able to get on one that starts in Jan or Feb etc etc..

Just a very quick update - I've had an email asking me to come along on Monday and sign up for the course, so it looks like I'm finally sorted. The staff at Keighley College have been amazing, a great help, and very patient with my constant pestering!
So as of Monday I'll be studying this:
