I wonder how many of you have read the paper articles about the yeti hair - found actually in an Indian jungle, where people have seen them? Under the microscope they are not like the hair of any other animal, but are closest to the hair Edmund Hillary brought back as yeti hair fifty years ago.
It's next going for DNA testing.
I've never much doubted that they exist TBH, as I've read so many reports, and a dear pal of mine had his own encounter in the 1970s (which I posted about once).

This sounds fascinating - where was this published?
I used to be a zoologist some many years ago and loved cryptozoology...

I have been reading, with interest, about this latest find. I remember growing up hearing tales of yeti and bigfoot. Like yourself, Venetian, I too believe they are living in remote parts of the world. Possibly a number of different types of these individuals, for want of a better word! It would be nice to think that if they were found that 'we' wouldn't interfere with their way of living.
Well, it's been all over at least published news, for some weeks. 🙂 But as smallish articles. A search using "yeti hair dna found" turned up scores of results. But here's one:

I wonder who on HP the artist's impression there would be most suitable for? :p

i have been fascinated by the yeti or Bigfoot but i do believe that, we as a human race could not let them be. we would end up putting them in a cage and studying them, we cannot never leave things be.not sure who the picture could be, i sure it cannot be an impression of yourself v.
