Hello I am in cambs as well

Hi everyone,
I live in a village called Barrington, outside Cambridge.
Most people know the village because we have a large village green with a
thatched pub, which is extremely popular.
Having lived and worked around here all my life, I know all the places being discussed.

Janie 🙂

Hi silverhoodedowl
Sorry to butt in (I love Cambridgeshire too but don't live there) but I thought you live with your son and d in law in Australia? Just confused. (Or am I mixing you up with someone else?)

Oh welcome back! I had gathered that all was not quite rosy from some of your posts. Are you back in Cambridgeshire? This lovely Autumn weather is obviously for you to show the UK is glad to have you back! Funnily enough, I had been longing to move abroad but after my recent trip to Spain I had come to the conclusion that actually the UK is really beautiful. I went to Bath today and the countryside was superb. Good for you for coming back.

Thank you,Sunanda. Must admit I wasn't very happy out there, family problems and the heat but I will miss the Aussies, they're great.
But I love England as well. What I missed most was the Autumn. All those lovely red, orange and green leaves floating down to the ground. I don't mind the cold either though I'm shivering in my warm fleecy nightie now and the heating is on full blast!
:(:D
