Hi,
I'm trying to find the author of a poem called Everyone Knows and wondered if anyone here could help?
The first verse is:
You cannot be all things to all people
You cannot do all things at once
You cannot do all things equally well
You cannot do all things better than everyone else
Everyone is human, including you
It's a lovely inspirational poem but I can't remember where I saw it (I thought it was on HP but have searched) or who the writer was!
I would be grateful if someone could put me out of my misery!

Try copying the first line into Google, RA, that should give you all you want to know. Perhaps add the word 'poem' on the end.

I confess that when I posted before, I hadn't tried it, I just made the suggestion. 😮 However, the whole of RA's quoted verse [with the word 'poem' in front] revealed the whole poem:

Oh! :confused: Tried the link at preview and the page has gone blank. It was to do with graduation, IIRC. This was the Google result:

EDIT: It just re-appeared for me, so maybe it's a case of waiting for it to load?
Thank you both so much for taking the effort to look. I had tried and had the same thing happen as Sunanda!
BUT, it did help when I found that it's 'proper' title is 'Dare To Believe' and that came up all over the place lol.
Every site I looked on though came up author unknown so I will just have to go with that.
