I can't say I ever really liked Ricky Gervais (his humour/acting), but now I have really warmed to him as a person
I didn't realise that he also won the accolade of being PETA's person of the year award in 2013. Impressive!

He's quite well known for his views on the way we treat animals.

I see... does no harm to make this more widely known. Since I haven't liked his talent, I tend to avoid him hence how I didn't know about this. Celebrities have the power to influence the public on such matters so he is doing a great job.
I like him. He has a good heart.

Yes...it's a new discovery for me (still not keen on his humour though!)
