Can I please ask for Reiki and prayers for our overwhelm at the water damage we suffered today, a pipe burst upstairs while we were out and then came through the sitting room, destroying carpets, books, furniture etc.I know it could be worse but I am so anxious and finding it hard to treat myself at moment 🙁

Hope the water damage hasn't caused too much severe damage, but I do know how bad it can be, when I had wd a couple of years back, it went from the airing cupboard through the light socket in the living room and damaged wall paper in living room and hallway. Insurance co sent out assesors who offered very little in the way of money to buy new wallpaper, etc (something like £4 a roll!!!) so much for new for old and the insurance premiums we all pay. Anyway Star99 hope you are starting to dry out.

Atlantic Pearl and On a Journey thank you so much, the cause of the problem has been sorted and we towel dried the sofa and carpets, the books which were on the coffee table are legible, just need drying out.I will get the carpet and upholstery steam cleaner tomorrow to clean the stains and freshen them up.It was in one area not too far from the lighting.The ceiling is plasterboard which needs replacing.It could have been alot worse.:)
