You didn't post in the 'wrong' forum so there's no need to apologise, but in view of this tragic situation [for which please accept my personal condolences] and the replies you've received, it seemed to me that Healing & Prayers might be very much needed for everyone right now, and that that forum might be better than General Discussions.
So I've moved the thread over for you, and I'm sure you'll receive many supportive replies, and especially for the funeral, which you said is on Thursday. That will be the 20th, yes?
To PM, just go to the top right of any page when you're logged in, and you will see a link right next to your avatar. Click on that - 'Private Messages'. Or they can be found either via Quick Links which are also at the top of the page, or your User Control Panel. And I've sent you one as well 🙂
