Could i ask you once again to send Healing and Positive Thoughts to a friend of mine her name is Sian, she told me yesterday that she has got an AVM, on the brain, her boyfriend woke her up one night last week she didnt hear him she was covered in blood because she had bitten her tongue, she had a seizure the first one ever,she was taken into hospital given an mri scan thats how they discovered this avm on the brain,i cant remember what it standsfor but they have to operate on her if they dont it will kill her, but having the op can leave her blind, she has a young baby and she is terrified,

Hi Blackcrow. It sounds like it may be arteriovenous malformation? I'm sending love and prayers and healing to Sian and her family and friends. What a worrying time for all. There are brain injury groups that have information and offer support and maybe if not one near, perhaps they could speak over the phone to her if she feels she'd like to talk about it. In 2K my sister suffered bleeds in the brain due to aneurysms. It was an awful time for her and all who know and love her. Eventually, through the hospital support group we met families of others who'd had brain injuries necessitating operations and so became aware of AVM. It can feel overwhelmingly scary and sometimes people choose not to have information but then again, it may feel like at least she could talk to people who might know some of the feelings of what she's going through.
