So sorry for your sake to hear your news but as others have said, it seems your Mum knew it was her time and wanted to be with your Dad. Always so hard for those left behind and to have two bereavements so close together must be so tough. A difficult week or more ahead of you both but do take care of yourself and when all the official parts are over, allow yourself time to grieve and be gentle with yourself.

Thank you all for your words of kindness, love and sympathy....Crabbie is so full of mixed emotions that it is very hard for her to express exactly what she is feeling at the moment. But, one thing is for sure........Doug and Grace are now together again.

What a bitter-sweet time for Crabbie. On the one hand, losing both parents so close together must be ghastly, on the other hand, they are together again and both have been spared years of either suffering or vegetating in a home, which is like a living death.
And you will never be an orphan Crabbie - because you are always the beloved daughter of your Father-Mother Love, just the same as your parents are (well, son and daughter) You can never be separated from the beautiful and unique qualities they expressed as those qualities are their spiritual nature which is eternal. And above all, you can never be separated from their love.

I am also very sorry to hear your sad news, but as mentioned in other posts your parents are together, lovely for them as a couple but so very, very hard for the familly to loose loved ones so close together.
