Thanks everyone. I went to see Dad today and found him very frail but lucid. Upsettingly his sight has been affected and he can't seem to see very much. Whether or not this will improve, well we'll have to wait and see. He is still being assessed. He hates being back in hospital (he usually lives with my brother). I do appreciate all your goodwill.
