Hi,

It is my Mum's funeral tomorrow and at times I really can't bare the thought of it. I am reading the eulogy and would like to have the strength not to break down, as I know others there will be trying to be strong as well. I am particularly concerned about my daughter who is getting married later this year and she so wanted both my Mum and Dad to be at the wedding, she is so upset.

I will have Oakey by my side, (except when doing the reading) so will gain strength from him. Mum is being laid to rest with my Dad, which has meant opening his grave, so soon after his death as well....my mind is in a turmoil about this...I hate the thought of his grave being disturbed so soon (his funeral was only 2 months ago).

I would like to gain some strength from all you lovely hpers out there.

Thanks

Crabapple xx

Oh crabby...what a hard time you have had. My thoughts go out to you.. I just hope you can gain some comfort from the thought that your ma and pa are at peace together now. So hard for those left behind... lean on Oakey...be good to yourself...it will get easier with time. I am sure you will find the strength to deal with tomorrow...and if you get upset...don't make it through the eulogy? so what..you are human...no one will judge you - hopefully they will all just try to silently give you strength to carry on.

Take care

Celia

Dear Crabby, you will have the strength to cope with this. And your daughter will draw strength from you. Just today I read a sentence which says that angels will be thronging round your mum's (and your dad's) grave, rejoicing that they are going home. It is so very hard for you, because they have gone....but they are together and safe and free from pain. It is as it is. Blessings to you all.

I will be thinking of you and your family tomorrow and sending love, light and healing to you all.
I really appreciated the support you both gave me and my family a few weeks ago when my father in law died.
Just knowing that all the kind people here were praying for me kept me strong.
When you are finding it most difficult feel the angels that sunanda spoke of and think of all the prayers all your friends here are saying for you. I am sure I speak for many others that you have helped when I say you will be in the thoughts of others tomorrow.

Take care of each other
Linda xx

This is such a difficult time which is charged with real emotion. It is so hard do to deal with loss at any time but often more difficult when its those who are closest to us. Saying a goodbye to our parents is a very painful thing - I still shudder and break down when I think of losing my Dad although I am thankful he is now at peace.
I am thinking of you and your family at this time and just pray that you will be given the strenght throughout.
Please don't feel bad about disturbing your Dad's grave so soon. I feel he will be waiting for your Mum and will be there to welcome her. Take comfort in the fact that they will be there together.
I'm sure your Mum and Dad lived a full life, achieving many great things. Let this be a celebration of special people who have done such special things!
Sending you and your family healing and strength to help you through this sad day.
