May I ask for some more help this morning? I feel that's happening a lot lately:(.
My daughter who is a teacher told me yesterday that her head of dept has been told that his wife has terminal cancer. She is in her 40's and had just been promoted to Head Teacher at another school to start at Christmas. They have an 11 year old daughter who only started attending her dad's school in September. My daughter is so sad as this couple are good friends as well as colleagues.
Could you also spare a thought for my daughter as not only is she upset about her friend she is having to double up on classes and take over the school Christmas production rehearsels every lunchtime and for an hour and a half after school every night and I'm concerned she is going to burn out.

Hi everyone
My daughter has contacted me to say that when her friend and husband went to the hospital to discuss her treatment plan etc they were told that it was a mis-diagnosis:eek:! Thankfully she HASN'T got cancer after all!!!! She will still need an operation to remove the problem but the outlook is good.
I don't know what they must have gone through emotionally this last week but I am just so happy that she is not terminal after all. Thank you all so much for your love and good wishes to Nikki and her family.
