I'm off work until Monday on the sick. I've got mild depression and also had a tonsillitis type virus. You may remember me asking about heart palpitations a few weeks ago, it was this weird virus I had that was causing it. Work stress didn't help though.
I am meant to be looking for a new job. I have emailed my CV off to a few places. I got an interview and got down to the last 2 in a job I applied for a few weeks ago. I even had a trial day. Its knocked my confidence a bit I think.
I really want to work and sort my life out. The thought of going back to my current job on Monday is actually making me feel sick.
I want something in sales, or just anything at the moment, but I'm losing all my enthusiasm for life. 🙁
Have you ever been in this situation. I think its anxiety thats stopping me. I'm actually cold today, and everyone else is really hot. Has anyone ever been through this sort of awful battle? Someone tell me there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Dear Sunray, there's ALWAYS light at the end of the tunnell, it just takes a slight adjustment of our 'sight' to see it!
I'm sure there will be many HP members who have felt as you do and hopefully they will share with you how they turned things around.
I gave a talk once, many years ago, about adversity. We all come here with our souls like rough diamonds. Each 'abrasive' situation we come against polishes a facet on our soul. By the time we leave again our souls are shining as brilliantly as the most perfect cut solitaire. Your soul is experiencing another bit of a polish and you will be made the stronger for it for whatever faces you in the future.
I don't think it is a 'coincidence' for me to see your post today. I need to take a leaf out of my own book lol. I have recently been diagnosed with skin cancer, not been able to work since the first operation back in July, have applied for Benefits but everything goes so slowly and I'm running out of money and to top it all my landlord has said he is putting up my rent as of next month ( he's been such a nice man and kept it the same for the past 2 years and is entitled to ask, but the timing sucks lol) so I have had to tell the Letting Agents about my situation but could become homeless because the Housing benefit can't change their payments until April next year as the Rent Dept had already assessed me back in April.
So, I wonder how many facets are being polished for me at this moment!
Keep looking for the 'lesson' in what is happening so you can learn it and move on.

When our bodies are under preasure it normally comes out in us in various ways, like yourself a viral infection, it always hits my stomache area, but you do over come them and carry on,
there is a light at the end of thhe tunnel but we dont always see whats before us, it takes someone else to point it out to us,
you will overcome this feeling, and feelmore positive,
sending Healing and positive thoughts to you to help the healing process.
