Hi guys I wonder if I could ask for a concerted burst of energy and healing whenever any of you feel able. I'm in the middle of a frenzied period of work and, believe me, it's not possible not to do it. BUT [:o] oh dear, the body is giving up on me: I knew something was wrong last Monday (icky, couldn't keep my breakfast down, diarrhoea). Luckily for the whole of last week I only worked mornings so would come home and go straight to bed for the afternoon: bliss. By Friday I thought I was on the road to recovery. Unfortunately, a trip to Cambridge on Saturday taxed my resources and every night since then I have been coughing myself to death (I do hope not literally!) The cough is very dry and more in my throat than anywhere else, sometimes I have to whoop to get some air in my lungs IYKWIM. So this hacking has inflamed my throat which feels sort of swollen on the inside and hurts when I swallow. BUT in spite of all this woe, I feel OK, if that's not a contradiction in terms.:D No really, I am so chuffed to be earning some serious money and I enjoy my work anyway....and I'm determined to hang on in there. Things can only get better (unless they take a turn for the worse!:D) Which is where you kind people come in: if you were able just to send me a bit of energy over the next two days, I am certain sure that I can get through this and come out the other side. I know how generous you all can be so will thank you in advance and let you know how we get on. Many, many thanks Sunanda xxxx

Well, thanks again everyone. I got through today quite well, apart from a couple of coughing sessions. And guess what? My evening job was cancelled so I was home in time to watch Rome!LOL
One more day to go and then I get a day off. As before, although I feel ill I don't actually feel too yucky. Started getting a bad headache this evening but took one ibuprofen and it's gone. My throat's easier too. I really think that all your good wishes are helping to lift my spirits.
