Please could you send healing to my husband's family. My husband's uncle John, who has lived in South Africa for the past 30-something years discovered he had colon cancer between Christmas and New Year. He had surgery immediately where doctors thought they had managed to get rid of the tumour. Unfortunately after a barrage of tests they discovered that the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes, liver and bowel.
I was shocked to say the least at the speed of John's deterioration, and I'm sad to say that he passed away last week, less than 6 weeks after being diagnosed. Please send healing to his wife Kate who herself battled breast cancer 5 years ago, their daughter Ros, sons Laurie and Nicholas and their families, and also to John's mother Josephine who is 91 years old.
My father-in-law Alan (John's brother) was himself diagnosed with Lung Cancer in November 2007 however after numerous bouts of pneumonia and the after-effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy is now in remission. I feel however that, due to the stressful nature of recent events, it may set his recovery back so please could you send healing to himself so that he may continue to gain strength and battle on.

Please ask your husband to get screened as it seems cancer runs in the family.
