Hi everyone i hope you are well.

Im wondering if anyone could please be so kind as to send healing and prayers to my dog, Zak.

He got into a fight yesterday when two loose dogs attacked him when he was on his lead. When my dog fought back the other dogs owner came running over and kicked my dog so hard in his face that his eyes were bleeding and he has lost his eyesight.

My poor Zak has been at the vet since and will be for a few more days, the vet wont know if his eyesight will return until his eyes stop bleeding inside and the swelling goes down. The vet said he usually sees this kind of injury when a dog has been hit by a car! I cannot believe someone would do this, im totally devastated and have not stopped crying.

I have been sending him reiki and will continue to do so but would be so grateful if anyone would be kind enough to say a prayer, send an angel or any healing to my Zak.

Huge thanks in advance, Sonia X

Sonia,

I am aghast at reading this - what a irresponsible dog owner that other dog owner seems.

My prayers are for Zak, hope he recovers well, my thoughts are with you too.

Dear Sonia,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, especially Zak!

You can put Zak in God’s loving care just as we did with our neighbour’s cat which was hit in the face (accidentally) by a rock. In that case, her face was crushed, the vet said she’d lost the sight in one eye and probably in the other and that it was doubtful that she would even live.

Well, thanks to understanding prayer – prayer which affirmed her untouchable spiritual identity, her innocence and purity, she was completely healed – after just a week, there was no sign that there had ever been an injury and I used to watch her stalking birds (sad she wasn’t healed of that!) at a long distance away –proof that her eyesight was all functioning normally again.

The greatest and most effective prayer that you could do though, is the prayer of forgiveness – to forgive the other dogs and their owner.

The root of the word “forgive” means “to let go“. to let go of the hurt, anger, pain and resentment. The main benefit of forgiveness is for ourselves - the other person doesn’t even have to know you have forgiven them. Have you ever noticed that in the middle of the word forgive is the word GIVE? Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself (and Zak!)

I’ve looked up some related articles on www.spirituality.com which I hope will encourage you to hope for the best, rather than feeling overwhelmed with fear and resentment.

This is a discussion which is quite long, but there’s an audio link at the bottom.

And this article below, by the same healer, is about a young man who was shot near the heart and lived full of anger and resentment towards the man who had shot him. For years, he suffered pain from the bullet which was lodged near his heart. It was only when he learned to forgive, that parts of the bullet came naturally out of his chest and he was healed.

You and Zak and everyone (including the other dogs and their owner, are wrapped up in Love!)

Hugs,

Judy
