My daughters father and I have been split up for over a year and we havent had anything to do with him really apart from phonecalls as we left him because he was violent and really scared me one day...Anyway he rang me a lot when I first left and 2 weeks after id gone he texted from a payphone pretending to be one of his friends saying that he'd tried to kill himself and been taken to the hospital so of course i was in a right state until i found out it wasnt true...he has done the same thing to me 3 times now...
Anyway recently I spoke to him on the phone and he said he wanted my new number so that he could ring and see how Pearl is so I gave it to give him a chance to make an effort. now hes been ringing me saying he is in hospital with tumors on his spine..he sounds unwell and unhappy whether its true or not...He gave me a number at the hospital and i rang and gave his name and they said they'd find out whats going on and ring me that was Tuesday so im guessing its lies again.
I really feel that even though its probably not true he must feel so down and lonely to keep saying these things and he could hardly speak on the phone..I dont think he has a proper place to live and think hes gotten into drugs again.
