Please may I ask for help for my half-sister, H, who is having to have a hip replacement on Tuesday at 4pm without general anaesthetic, because of other issues she has. This is her 5th major op in the last 2 years and as you can imagine she is really not looking forward to this particular intervention. She is told she will be very limited in her movement for 6-8 weeks afterwards which bothers her a lot.
