Purelightreiki - so sorry to hear of your stressful situation. Is she sub-letting? Is it maybe worth while having a word with the actual landlord?

You need to be clear what happens about your deposit - I hope it was to the landlord and not her, but also the landlord may have or know of another place?

Worth a try maybe?

Good luck - I hope it turns out OK for you in the end but I am sure its horrendous at the moment.

Take care

Celia

So very sorry to hear this, Purelightreiki! An awful situation for you, especially with all else you have had to deal with. Perhaps it was not meant to be - she sounds pretty difficult to live with. I do hope something comes up soon and that you get your deposit back. Have a word with the CAB about what to do.

I was going to say there is a house here on the farm - but it's nearly 5 hours from London! And we are in the middle of nowhere!

Love, Light and Healing to you.

Is she actually the landlord? Are you renting from her or are you both renting from another person?

You do have some rights in this situation, before acting it might be as well to ask the CAB so you do actually know where you stand in this from a legal point of view, even if you have no desire to tough it out. Get all the facts before agreeing to anything, in other words.

From a social point of view you might decide it's not worth it to live with a control-freak or a stress-head.

But you could put your foot down and tell her you've rented fair-and-square, if she doesn't like it it's a bit late to tell you - but as it's a free country she can leave if she wants. She might agree, or she might decide after a while that she doesn't mind you so much once she gets used to you.
