Where is this?

Lovely weather we are having this week and we had some great days last month too. One day we had a drive out to somewhere we hadn't been before. Took some photos while we were there and I was wondering if anyone can name the place from the photos? I've put this under quizzes as I thought someone might like to carry this thread on with photos of a different town/city once there is a correct answer to the this one.
