Echinacea.

or Cone flower, thought to be a good immune stimulant, therefore useful to take as supplements at the start of the colds/flu season

One of my favourite wildflowers:

Foxglove - Digitalis

The common name has nothing to do with foxes. It's a corruption of the phrase 'folks' gloves' - fairy folk were said to use flowers as gloves. The Latin, digitalis, refers to the flowers' finger- or digit-like shape.

Most foxgloves are biennials, which means you sow the seed one year; they flower, die and scatter seed the next. Also be aware that all parts of the plant are highly toxic if eaten, but handling them isn't a problem.

Geranium

Essential oil of Geranium useful for hormonal balancing but to be avoided in pregnancy. 🙂

Iris is a genus of between 200-300 species of flowering plants with showy flowers which takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species. As well as being the scientific name, Iris is also very widely used as a common name and refers to all Iris species as well as some closely related genera. It is the state flower of Tennessee.

Taken from Wikpedia, one of my fav flowers as well as freesia's but we have passed "H" now!

R 🙂
