I give one day per week to a charitable woodland trust, near to me....and I was asked if I would like to get more involvded with the woodland burial site?.

Of course, i said I would......I just wondered what others here on hp thought about natural burials....good...bad....indifferent

All my family know I wish to be put in a bag under a tree! Preferably after I am deceased.

I think it is a lovely idea, I also quite like the ashes to diamonds idea too. But it is definitely a bag and a tree burial for me.

There was a burial today....a traditional Christian ceremony....with horse-drawn carriage, and a procession of mourners walking along behind the carriage....very moving and very beautiful....

We've had a discussion along these lines on HP before (I'm too lazy to look up the link. No I'm not! Here it is: https://www.healthypages.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=25684 )

I've put in my will that I'd like a woodland burial. And no weeping and wailing!:)

Love
