Hiya wispy.....I don't know very much about Woodcraft Folk but the woodland centre where I volunteer each week do a brilliant job with, not only excluded young adults but convicted offenders from the community service .
We also have...'Mind 'on site,These are a group of people suffering from different mental heath problems. This group actually help me in the herb gardens.....
My point is. If Woodcraft Folk are as good as their website, and going on the education that the visitors receive at our centre.....the prognosis has to be very good,
Hiya - thanks for your replies.
The work at the woodland centre sounds amazing Oakapple - how long have you been volunteering there?
Thanks for the link Sunanda - I never thought of looking on Wiki - it was quite a concise article, and also gave a link to Forest School Camps which is interesting.
I'm really interested in doing some engaging nature and conservation work with kids at some point in the future, and the Woodcraft Folk looks like it might be the way to go so I may get in touch with them.
Thanks again
Wispy~Misty xx

They have a natural burial site at the centre, and I am involved with that as well. The herb gardens are starting to look really good now and they have just given us our own Hazel Coppice.....So it's great at the moment....all systems go...with Spring on the way.....Yeah!!!
