Surely they are only safe for humans to use, after the tests have been done. It doesn't mean that there aren't earlier versions of the products (not released to the market) that were actually harmful to waterways, which the testing established.
 I am so pleased this subject was aired on a mainstream channel. Have recorded it for my daughter who has an equally 'impressive' collection of lip glosses as one of the sisters in the programme.

I know I was screaming at the screen too when I saw palm oil thats not good as it encourages forests to be chopped down to plant palm oil trees and what about those poor orang utans!:mad:interesting prog though.

I meant halos and horns lol not horns and tails!!I hope!
I'm always pleased when this information is aired as I have been telling people for over seven years about toxins in toiletries, make-up and household products. I wasn't very impressed with the alternatives that Sarah Beeny gave to the girls, though, as they took some time to get used to. The ones I use are much more like the conventional versions but are completely toxin-free and environmentally friendly.
I look forward to seeing next week's episode.
What about the tooth past that you use that have toxins and the soap that you use and the shampoo that you use , they all have toxins
