Just wanted to put people in the UKon to a totally green electricity provider called Ecotricity ([link= http://www.ecotricity.co.uk ]www.ecotricity.co.uk[/link]). They are a 100% green energy provider, all of the power they provide comes solely from wind turbines and they invest massive amounts of money into new turbines so that they can provide for more and more people.

On top of that, they plant a tree for each new customer to create new woodland in Gloucestershire.

On top of THAT, if you go to [link= http://www.ecotricity.co.uk/ecologist ]ecotricity.co.uk/ecologist[/link] you'll get a year's free subscription to the Ecologist magazine once you switch to them. (I had never read the Ecologist before, but it's a brilliant magazine, packed full of eco/green news).

AND they promise to match the price of your regional supplier.

PS. I know I'm singing their praises, but I don't work for them, honest, I'm justa lot happier knowing that my electricity is provided by wind turbines and not burning fossil fuels. The more of us that use green energy, the bigger the difference!

Love & light,

ShinyCat

RE: Green Electricity Provider

Hi,

Thanks for this. I've been trying to make the change for a while so this might actually make me do it.

Thanks again

RE: Green Electricity Provider

Excellent timing! I'm moving soon so will be able to sign up with these people as soon as i move. That's one more question answered (whom to choose as my electricity supplier.) Now if only there were a green gas supplier too!!

Love

RE: Green Electricity Provider

Oh i wish that i'd known this earlier - we just changed to british gas green Tarrif - not quite the same though. As the change is in process i will stick with BG for a while and then change again in the near furture.

And even if you did work for them, people need to know what's available to them and there are some great businesses out there who are unrecognised yet offering fantastic services that people benefit from. I am off now to go and look at what this company are about - from what you have said they seem to be a very worthwhile company - you left the link and people can make up their minds on how good they are. To get energy from turbines is a fantastic way of taking energy.
