And into that gate they shall enter, and in that house they shall dwell, where there shall be no cloud nor sun, no darkness nor dazzling, but one equal light, no noise nor silence, but one equal music, no fears nor hopes, but one equal possession, no foes nor friends, but one equal communion, no ends nor beginnings, but one equal eternity.

Well, it sounds like Heaven to me[sm=angel-smiley-027.gif]
It is most likely how Jon Donne and I expect many others feel we are like in spiritual form. Perhaps this is what we are in essence, inside our material bodies we are still in this perfect equal Light, and have simply taken on human form to learn and to express ourselves better, spiritually.

Very thought provoking 😀 ....
This is what came into my head when I read it...
We ARE all equal as we are all spiritual beings having a physical experience...
We may take many human lifetimes to learn certain lessons (or teach others) but we will all eventually reach the stage where we don't have to manifest on the physical plane anymore...and remain in spirit...maybe in a place just like that 😀

Great.
Isn't the name spelled John Donne? I simply adore his words. Van Morrison and I are both great fans of John Donne, however it is spelled. There are a few of his which I think are simply among the greatest literature of all time, and Vaughn Williams put five of his songs to music. Those Donne / V Williams songs are among the most wonderful in my life and always will be.
Anyone interested in finding them thru a search: V Williams called them "Five Spiritual Songs". The words combined with amazing music and vocals can move you either to God or to tears, or both! I'm sure a google search would easily do it.
