RE: spirit guide

Hi Aura,

In addition to the other fine posts on this subject, I would suggest that if you are 'afraid' of seeing your guides, (been there myself, so I know how it feels), then simply put the thought out there that you would prefer they contact you in another way.

Mine complied with that request, and I began to be aware in other ways of their presence, mostly clairsentience, or knowing that they are around, and what they are saying.

I have recently begun to 'see' more, but understand it (and myself), better now, and the fear is gone, and it's actually fun to see things clairvoyantly.

it will take time, so be patient with yourself,

Much love
Memphis 🙂

RE: spirit guide

The thing is, i think that i did see my guide last year on Feb. 27th. I'll never forget it and i know i'm pathetic, but i've slept with the light on ever since.
That night i had watched the 1st night of 3 Most Haunted Live progammes and went to bed. My 15 year old daughter had her friend stay over so i let them sleep in my double bed. I slept inmy daughters single bed while my then 17 year old slept in her room right next to where i was.
As usual i lay there looking up at the ceiling, praying for my very ill sister, and asked for a sign that i was not alone and had support. I had done this for as long as i can remember and had gotten to the point not to expext anything.
Suddenly my daughters bedroom door came open, which it always did if it hadn't been pushed to properly, so i didn't think anything. I do remember thinking that i would shut it properly when i went 1 last time to the toilet.
I tiredly rolled and sat up, my side facing the door. As i stood and turned to go towards the door, i saw something standing in the door way not 6ft from me. I only saw the torso as i turned away putting my hands to my ears, closing my eyes and screaming as i crouched in the corner. My 17yr old came running in and i then looked at where i had seen the figure standing. With the lamp light shinning through the window, i could clearly see my toilet door..something had been there.
I begged my daughter to sleep with me, which she did, but i stayed awakw with every light on upstairs. I was absolutely petrified.
All i can remember was, whoever it was had a very thick like dressing gown on. Ther was a lot of gathering on the arms, which were up because he was holding his hands.
I remember thinking, 'why would my guide show himself? Surely if he knew me, he would know that i was scared'. Then as the days went on i thought of how i could of offended him, screaming like that.
Anyhow, the following night of Most Haunted, it was reported that many people had phoned in about strange accurences through watching the show; many had claimed to see monks!! So maybe this wasn't my guide, just a monk like many others had seen through watching the 'live' show.
I would really love not to be scared, i have been though ever since i was very young. I need to converse with my Guide or Angel, but how can i with this over the top fear.

Without thinking about it, answer this question - what are you scared of?

Hello Flowerlight,

Your medium friend may well be right. I didn't meet my guide until I had reached a crossroads in my life, and then I was guided to meet her by pure coincidence (or so it seemed at the time.)

When the pupil is ready, the master will appear.

Love,
Patsy.

'they were cloaked and had a hood that covered their face.'
when i was 'training' i was told pretty firmly that anyone who wouldn't show their face was not what they seemed to be and to cut any connection. any thoughts on this advice?
