Occultism and its meaning
A general designation for various theories, practices, and rituals based upon esoteric knowledge, especially alleged knowledge about the world of spirits and unknown forces of the universe.
The bible is full of the Holy Spirit and passages about spirit and the spiritual realms. The new bible translations are enlightening and I recommend the New International Version.
In ancient days temples were places of learning the Ancient Wisdom teachings of the occult and healing. It is written in Christian texts that Mother Mary grew up and was taught in such a temple.
I recommend a book called ‘The Tragic History of Esoteric Christianity, The Church’s war against the spirit of Sophia. Written by an Irish Christian author Sean Byrne.
Esoteric
Secret and symbolic, secret in the sense of teaching not revealed to those unworthy or unfit to receive it. This teaching can refer to phenomenal or spiritual matters. Symbolic in the sense of inner or spiritual meaning underlying the final surface meaning. Spiritual truths are apprehended by the intuition of the soul and cannot be revealed or explained except to those whose inner development enables them to grasp it. Here Jesus is talking about giving people the basic truth for they were not ready to receive all of the ancient mystery teachings but yet some is hidden in his parables and teachings if one understands the inner meaning.

Many thanks Kim for your very interesting reply. And thanks also for the links, the film clip made me feel all emotional & will certainly whatch it when it's out.
It's a shame the people from the web site http://logosresourcepages.org/Occult/witchcraft_today.htm won't ever take the time to read the POCM site that you posted...even if they did I doubt the words would be allowed to register.
The more I think about it the more I am of mind to say that the loud shouts of contempt that come through in regards to the occult are in themselves worryingly dangorus. You can do a search & with the first couple of replies there will be site made by people who are firm Christains damning the most silliest of things to be part of the Occult (even the Teletubbies as I posted above...but then again....eh-o...say no more...it's satan himself;))....Take Harry Potter for instance....a harmless kids storie in it's self...but here again there is rumbling from concerned Christians (please note that although I'm saying Christians here i do not mean to refere to 'all' Christains as one thing that I have learned from HP is not everyone is so 'short sighted' on their beliefs!!) about the dangers of children being suduced into a world of Magik & occult...this alone I think is where a danger lies....to some people...young or even people with personal issues then to hear things about a ficitional hero being compared to reality is in it's self suductive & can and probably does fan a flame of interest fed by ego & the thought of learning a sub human power...ie black[sm=scratchchin.gif]magic....were...without anything to back up my words here...I would imagine this journey would either leave a few insane or turn to a religon which can promise to clear you from your demons...& then the few that will come away after learning a thing or 2;)

I understand you and you are very welcome.
I removed the negative vibration of television from my life back in 1998 and it is one of the most positive things I have ever done.
GODs will, will be done and health and education will change.
The problem with education is due to the existing nature of reality, it is based upon engrained judgement. This stops people engaging with the flow of the divine self and the universe. Parents are just the guardian of the soul, a precious gem born to shine. It is the guardians responsibility to ensure that gem is not reshaped but allowed to BE its natural state
Children should be allowed to remain unique individuals, sacred beings that are honoured by parents and teachers as equals. Allowed to follow their own instincts and intuition about what feels good for them. They are born creators, adventurers, scientists, inventors, and artists. Parents and teachers should not impose their own beliefs, perceptions, judgements, prejudice and dreams on to their children. The soul of the child will always be guided by GOD and messengers that are sent. When we allow the child to stay open to their inner voice and own guidance their lives are enriched, they can then share their wisdom with us.
Wise souls in little bodies that can teach us much when we allow them to be our teachers as well as our beloved friends.

Things are changing for the better and in the not so distant future our children will grow up in a totally different cultural community, at one with nature and with GOD. Just like GOD intended. All power structures, control and domination will fall away ..bless the innocent little ones for they know this to be truth.

I think occult is one of those things that means different things to diferent people. if you're going to discuss it, it would seem to me that it's best to see how everyone else defines it. I don't really see it as having one meaning...maybe as time goes on, we'll solidify a meaning for it

hhhumm is supose your right [sm=scratchchin.gif] ,although to be honest when I started the thread I wasn't really intending to discuss it as such, I was merely curious...but yes...from what I found out from the net that it is very different & it just depends on how a person wishes to see it I supose....different strokes for different folks (ha...[sm=nuts.gif]I can't believe I just said that[:o])...but I did read a lot of contempt for the things that I personaly believe in...Oh well...thats what makes the world go round;)
