In my humble view, it is not so brave to be swallowed by the ego of another.....
Human beings are more than just beings of love, and love isnot the only important thing, in my view. *balance* is important also.
It could be that the love and light dogma is just another attempt to tell people that they are not good enough as they are...... *not good enough, not good enough...* and lo! yet more talk of an *army* to force everyone to conform to the new order.....
I say, the world is fine, progressing just exactly as it is supposed to, teaching us exactly what we need learn......
Those who offer reward in return for obediance and worship are not to be trusted, in my humble view.

RE: Not so brave....
Isn't 'love, light and dogma' what we are supposed to be moving away from? In order to think for ourselves, and not accept the teachings of various religions, which is Dogma? In which case I agree with you .Xia. wholeheartedly. I agree with you about 'balance' also.
I also hold the personal view that, however slowly it may seem to us, the world is moving just as it should be.

RE: Not so brave....
Good for you! heh.. I thought my brain would bust open with the *love and light* sickly stuff.... For me, I am happy to be human - human is fine by me! Funny.... no new agers got o tell the eagles that eagle is not good enough, and they need to change... bear is not good enough, so on....
Could be that the *evolution* that some people desire so much comes from feelings about themselves, which they project out in to the world??? After all, this whole philosophy of *evolving* the human race is based on an idea that we somehow not good enough as we are. For me, althoguh it is a difficult existence for many people, I would not have missed any second of my life, nor would I be happy if any being had taken from me my chance to face every challenge. The *aliens* that speak of changing the earth to a higher vibration of love, consciousness etc. are just as likely to be changing the earth to a higher vibration of tastyness... heh....
Human is fine, it is ok to be human, in my view..... resist the love and light master race.... us normal fols will not, of course, ever fit in with the *new order*... what will they do then? Put us in camps until we agree to join the army of light and wear t-shirts of mithril? Heh...

RE: Not so brave....
I think your key word is "Ego" and how I agree with that!!
Problem with many peeps is that they can't see the difference between their ego and their a**e.
Sorry mods!!

Seriously, I think we can become anaesthetised by dogma and sometimes we have to stand up and be counted. But I also believe that humanity is still evolving - I would like to think for the better.....
As a child of the 60's I witnessed the start of what was dubbed the "Hippie" era. What started out as a plausible ideal became corrupted by those who sort to make names for themselves. The essence of "Free Love" was never - originally- about promiscuity. It was giving your love (not sex) freely and with commitment. Not something very many of us were evolved enough to handle.
I also have to say, and I know this will go down like a dose of salts with some, but the current society (in Britain at least) needs a kick up the backside. Respect, manners, consideration etc., all seem to be things of the past. And, before preaching Love again, maybe we should all learn Tolerance first.
RE: Not so brave....
Yes, I agree with you both on most points, I don't think there is the desperate need to evolve as humans, as a species, except for spiritually (and this is not new age nonsense);) I am speaking here within the context of what Glenys was saying, to evolve in respect for others, manners, (do unto others as you would have done unto you) etc., and indeed tolerance.
But, tolerance, especially here on HP means that members are free to say what they believe in - and you simply take what resonates and discard the rest. Having a reasoned discussion about what you don't find acceptable IS tolerance. So what feels sickly to one person may be just right for another. All points are valid if they come from a place where no harm is intended.
Oh Glenys, the hippy era!!! An excuse for relaxing all the human Laws of self discipline;) Well it didn't last, and nothing really does, we move on and then return to the same place and try again - it's all movement and learning, and if we get it wrong, what does it matter in the long term. It is all part of human experience and becomes historical, and by history we learn, if we are wise;)
