Everything is Moving towards Something Else

RE: Everything is Moving towards Something Else

I saw that too wasn't it fantastic..

Gilly I have always believed it but not from a scientific point of view .. more a spiritual one..
I believe that everything happens for a reason no matter how good bad , easy or hard it is there will be a reason for it.All a part of our internal movement & development & the knock on domino movement will cause other to look at their inner voice/ being to find what right for them .. sometimes something sometimes nothing.. but it will keep on moving some how even if it has to change shape the originality of it will remain .

Hmm i think i better go to bed lol.......

RE: Everything is Moving towards Something Else

Yeah, that resonates because I'm just getting deeper into Taoism.

Almost every way of spiritual thought, Eastern anyway, posits a level of being before the Creation, and still existing at its level, where you have a quiessent 'void'. But once the One or void puts out even the potential for action or creation, to make things appear, then that potential has a more active and a less active nature.

If you just think of the symbol of the Tao, that symbol explains it all. By the time we get 'down here' in the real/unreal world of phenomena, nothing is quiessent because the flow of yin and yang is occurring, as in that symbol. Anything yin now is receiving more yang, and vice-versa. That may sound deep, but it's as simple as the fact that winter becomes summer becomes winter.

It'll also fit the Hindu notion of Karma which in the broadest sense means 'action'. The One, or Brahman, set things into motion, like giving a machine a big kick 😉 , and ever-since then nothing has stayed still. We can't not act even if we want to, for nonaction is also an action....

I like the sentance:
'everything is moving towards something else'

And it is true, everything is moving towards certain goal, certain direction which is not perceivable to our limited (but constantly growing) mind.

Someone has said:
”Creation, the universe in its activity, is not simply a meaningless play, a pointless fancy. It has a purpose, an end, a goal, a fulfilment and it follows naturally a definite pattern of process. The goal is the concretisation, the materialisation of the Spirit and the spiritual values. It means the establishment of divine names and forms in terrestrial individuals leading a divine life; individually and collectively here below.”
