I have found a nice wooden box to keep my tarot cards in.
Do I need to prepare the box in anyway before I use it? Maybe to release any energies of anyone else who has handled it?
My cards will be in their bag as well but I bought the box as I feel they will be safer.

Hi Maggie,
If it were me, I would "cleanse" the box. Do you do Reiki, if so then just Reiki the box, or use some incense to smudge it or just "ask" (intend) it to release any negative energy that it's holding on to. Sounds lovely to have a box for your cards, will keep them nicely.

Lovely, what kind of box? They are hard to find I think, I only have one or two most of my decks are in bags 🙂
Do you use crystals? You could add a crystal too for energy and protection 🙂
Hi,
I found my box in TK MAXX!! It isn't specifically for cards but liked it. It was £9.99. It is plain dark wood with a lift off lid which has a simple design. It would hold two decks of cards. I did see a carved one on a stall in the market for the same price but it didn't call to me.
I like the idea of putting crystals in the box so that is what I am going to look for tomorrow on my day off. Any suggestions as to which ones may be best?
