Has this forum changed into a Lost and Found department?
I'd be happy with that if there were even a single reason to believe that there was a psychic or paranormal (title of forum) way of locating the bits and bobs that people misplace on a day-to-day basis.
There isn't of course.

Hi Mac, some people believe psychic's can help find items, some don't, I'm sure there's lots of people that share your piont of view that there isn't a psychic or paranormal method to locate bits and bobs but like wise others that believe there is....when things are found via a 'suggestion' on here it could perhaps be coincerdence or there could be something in it.....whatever...but to be honest, it's easier just to take a light hearted view on it, perhaps requesting help to find items on a forum as nothing more then a guessing game, a bit of fun for some, if you think these kind of posts are silly then just don't read them;)

In a discussion forum, it's a reader's choice to respond in whatever (s)he feels appropriate, isn't it? 🙂

Likewise, in a discussion forum it's common place for users to post topics/questions/opinions that they wish to express, because you personally believe that a person can not locate an item by using psychic powers doesn't make your POV fact

I don't see how by just making clear your personal view that you don't believe in something doesn't really contribute much to a discussion.......:)...it maybe just how I read your post and not meant by yourself at all, but I found your post a tad belittling to those members who have posted such requests

A challenge to personal beliefs ought not to be seen as "belittling" so much as potentially liberating - depends on one's outlook. 🙂
You're right that my point of view would not be fact but when my stance is based on previous outcomes it's less my point of view and more a reflection of what's been reported in the past. Only extremely rarely is anything reported to have been found by the use of psychic attributes. Is it wrong for one's outlook to reflect that situation?
As for, quote: "I don't see how by just making clear your personal view that you don't believe in something doesn't really contribute much to a discussion......." I'm actually only doing what many members routinely do in topic threads. 😉
