Hiya..I've just had such an odd dream, it was this morning, I had already been up to make my O/H a coffee before he went to work but decided to go back to bed for a bit because the children where still fast asleep:)...anyway, my dream..

I dreampt that I had a huge pet frog, I was quiet attached to him but then a geko came and started to attack him, the frog leaped down a big hole & the geko followed him, I could see bite marks on the frogs legs, I went into an under ground home to try and get into the hole to save the frog, there was a window that looked out to the bottom of the hole so I opened it but when I did this pixie or elf was asleep underneath it..I'd woken him up & at first felt a bit 'yukked' by the elfs appearance, he must of been about the size of my forarm all spangly and grubby with a scruffy thin beard & sharpe twinkly eyes, he said his name was 'Magic'...he asked me a question (can't remember what it was) and when I went to answer he said..'no no, I'll put my hands on your head, I'll be able to hear you far more clearly then'..to which I said 'no you can't, I don't really like the idea of you running a muck in my mind'..his reply was 'Ah no worries, I hear your thoughts when I sit on your pillow as you sleep'..anyway..I asked Magic to save my frog for me, which he did & then I must of woken up..such a strange dream I just had to post it here:o

xxxx

And my husband thinks I have weird dreams...............! 😉

Hope you don't struggle to nod off tonight in anticipation of a visit from Magic, your pillow elf. :dft005:
At least he must be well meaning, after all, he did save your frog!! :005:

How interesting! Frogs can mean transformation and gecko means a yes to something.

A friend of mine says he has a dream watcher that appears in his dreams regularly and keeps and eye on things. I have never experienced this but I wonder if Magic is your dream watcher?

On the other hand all that happens in our dreams is an aspect of ourselves. Magic being your higher self watching over in a time of transformation maybe?

I am thinking maybe you are resisiting some change in your life that you would really like to say yes to. Ambition or dream to do something?

I love analysing dreams so your comments are most welcome!

A clear dream, actually 🙂 I think!
I don't know if you've ever dreamed about a frog or a gecko before, or a green object, but look for these characters in past or future dreams. I think the frog may be your inner self? Or something you want to hold dear / protect. (this, however, is from my own dream symbolism - I dream of a black cat).

The gecko was a similar creature - same species group, eg. amphibians, same colour (was the colour a little different, less or more beautiful/vivid?). Vivid emerald green could be a symbol for your physical and emotional balance, while duller greens could indicate jealousy, and other heart issues (much will be available online in this area, but I could write you an in depth colour analysis?).

Something or someone, perhaps a human or perhaps something else, was chasing and hurting etc the frog. You were worried about the frog (yourself?) but by the end of the chase you found an elf. The elf would be an excellent symbol for your spirit guide/angel/whichever name you like to think of. A being who lovingly watches over you all night, when you fall asleep - in all states of consciousness. His visual and aural features and his very words/actions symbolise the way you currently feel about him, and the way in which he'd like to interact with you eg. the hands on head could indicate meditation/clairvoyancy.

The key with all your symbols is to find your own meanings - I hope this attempted interpretation doesn't put ideas into your head 🙂

Perhaps you have been uncomfortable with contacting or thinking of the spirit world or the beings within who help us, but the guide seems to say that he's here anyway, no matter how you may find things. When we fall asleep we enter a state known as the hypnagogic state - a hazy psychic realm where our unconscious mind can interact with the angels in a loving way, or just to unload our most pressing verbal thoughts. Perhaps the verbal part of our brain needs to unload its burden before a deeper REM state can occur.

I'm not aware of your psychic experiences but my own experiences relate to this. After years of work in meditation I began conversing with my guides/psychic energy in a similar dreamlike state (however I began seeing colours, and talking incessantly in my inner psychic voice!! My grounding energies, eg red-orange, were low.). I found it to be a transitionary stage to eventual safe mediumship ability. Supervised training, love and kindness, however, with frequently balanced chakra and development work, are needed to develop this ability safely.
