Hello,
In the last month, I have been having a lot of nightmares in which people are mean, or ignore me, or don't like me (friends, family, boyfriend, ex-boss).
I dreamt about my boyfriend three times: once he was cheating on me, once he was totally ignoring me, and once he didn't want to have sex with me anymore! Things are going really well between us.
Another time, it was my sisters who said they didn't love me and I was crying and crying...
I always wake up feeling s**t after these nightmares, so if you have any idea about how to get rid of them... :S
I have tried Kalms! They do make me fall asleep faster but that's not the issue! 🙂
Wean certain people you know are mean and ignore in your dreams is suppose to be a very good sign and it means the total opposite in real life which as far as I noticed is true. I also always used to dream that my ex was cheating on me in the past.. and guess what? the bugger was indeed up to no good! Lol
But anyway after I spend many years being highly preoccupied with dreams interpretation, I ended up to the conclusion that is all just weird connection we make into subconscious, with deeply psychological meanings that we cant understand about ourselves.
Dreams are just as deceiving as reality. Dont let them get to you
Hmm actually in my case, I think I have lost my self-confidence recently, hence the dreams... But I'm not too worried about their meanings, I just want them to go away... 🙁 I know dreams are a way for the mind to process some feelings and information but surely they could be less horrible? Or I'd rather not remember them...

I would agree that dreams are a way for the mind to process the information and feelings, and especially those feelings that we do not overtly express or acknowledge to ourselves during the waking time - often in the dreams these are exaggerated dramatically (e.g. when I get angry or frustrated and don't express my anger in some constructive way, I would sometimes get a dream in which I am quite unpleasantly aggressive or violent! - which is very unlike me in real life, I should add).
You mention recent issues with self-confidence which you link to the content of the dreams - have you had a chance to speak to anyone about what is going on for you? Talking is not the only way we can process emotions of course - other methods could be writing down the content of the dreams when you have them, or possibly drawing/painting the symbols represented in the dreams. I do believe that the emotion does need to be processed in one way or the other - unprocessed or "stuck" emotions will inevitably show themselves - if not in dreams then other symptoms, emotional or physical.
Another thought - you can also get some books and home study packs on "lucid dreaming" which teach the skills of controlling the course of your own dreams - this way dreams can become a fascinating experimental ground rather than something that is scary and uncontrollable.
I used to have a lot of nightmares when I was younger, and I believe that in addition to all the personal development and healing, as a result of which I hardly ever get any unpleasant dreams, the sense of having some control over your dreams (or even just acknowledging a possibility of such control) which I gained though studying some lucid dreaming materials was also very helpful.

Thanks Masha, it's a great idea - I've always wanted to be able to control my dream (at least to some extent). Like, I have never dreamt I was flying, what a shame...
Do you have a specific book in mind?
