For a few years now I always dream with me as I am now but being in the past. I'm either at home (my childhood home, quite often in my bedroom there), secondary school or university. Yet despite my being in past situations I am aware in the dream of my husband and children existing.
Despite living in my house for a good 8 years now I have never had a dream where I live here.
Any idea what this could mean?
RE: Recurrent theme
I often wonder if other people have a simliar dream to mine and there your post popped up.
I have a dream very much like your's,I've had it so many times it gets boring!
I was born up in the north in England but have lived down south for many years now. But I constantly dream I am travelling back to the north but when I get near to my old home,I can't find it.
Someone told me it is a hidden urge to go back home either because you were happy there or your roots are there.
Anyone any ideas on this?
RE: Recurrent theme
I too have dreams of being as I am now in life but going back "home" were I grew up. In my dream I am aware I don't live there anymore and shouldn't be there- the last time Idreamt of thisI actually climbed in through an open window.
I also dream of going to my gran's house (where I spent a lot of time as a child) knowing she shouldn't be there (she's passed) but she's there waiting for me - I can't remember what we talk about though.
RE: Recurrent theme
One of those times in my dream was actually walking up the M1 on a dark and dreary night wearing only a t-shirt and a pair of shorts! I made my way to Newcastle but could find a bus to take me home.

That's what I have read in various places. Trouble is I hated it when I was child, and at home! It's been the source of many stresses and negative ways of thinking.
