:)Hello All,
I wonder if any one could help me understand the dream that i had in the early hours of this morning:
It was about my boyfriend and his mother....we were all standing in this flat/house which seem quite dark...and the design was dated...maybe 60s? I think my boyfriend wanted me to move in...but i stated only if your mother accepted me....she said No......So i said well thats it ...ive been with you for three and half years and still your mother does not accept me....so then i said the whole relationship was over.................and then woke up from my dream[&:]
Its left me feeling quite angry/frustrated and unsure.
I know with dreams you are to try and work them out for yourself but i could do with a little help.
Love and sunshine

RE: Dream help?
Why not ignore the dream and speak to your boy friend's mother - ask her if she minds you moving in. Your dreams are just materialising what you fear - if you don't ask, you may never know.

RE: Dream help?
It is the hardest thing a Mother can do to let go the apron strings. As a Mother of 2 very grown up boys (they'll always be my little boys) I know how hard it is to let go of the apron strings - to hand over your 'little' boys to another female you hardly know, who will take over looking after them. I was able to cut my strings, to allow my boys to develop and find their own partners - one of which I love to bits, the other I accept her as she is - but don't love. I realise they have to find their own true loves and if I don't like them, then its tough. As long as my boys are happy, then I'm happy for them.
However, a lot of Mums can never let go - you may never get their acceptance of your love for their son - thats their loss, not yours.
Enjoy your partner, share your love and make him happy. As long as you are both happy, thats all that counts. Sounds a bit heartless, but you can't make everybody love you - thats the way of the world.
Wishing you every success in your partnership.[sm=1kis.gif][sm=1kis.gif]
