Mercury will pass through this retrograde from 21 degrees to 13 degrees of Gemini from May 26 to June 19. Check your natal chart to see the personalized effects of this retrograde Mercury phase. If you have planets in the 21 degrees to 13 degrees of Gemini, you may feel confused and won't know which way to go. If you have planets s between 11 and 23 degrees in Virgo or Pisces you may have delays and obstruction .If you have planets between 11 and 23 degrees in Sagittarius, you may feel exhausted.
Mercury will turn direct on June 19. It can be the most difficult day of the entire retrograde phase and may bring technical glitches, miscommunication, travel and traffic problems, and scheduling snafus, Internet problems.
It doesnt mean you should stop doing everything but you should leave extra room in your work schedule for unexpected delays, and double-check all written work before it leaves your office. Any software up gradation or system maintenance on your computer or network should be completed before Mercury retrograde begins. And do not forget to upgrade your Anti Virus system.
To take the advantage of this retrograde phase reverse the flow of any Mercurian act just as read again any books or documents, check everything out carefully, work on old ventures that never got to be accomplished, meet with old friends you have be planning to meet for a long time, travel to places you've already visited before. The first week of Mercury's retrograde could also bring impulsive arguments and accidents as well. Be careful while driving.

You know what I've been feeling the affects of Mercury (the Messenger) applying to a conjunction with my natal Uranus. Things like computer problem, telephone problem. However it will move away from Uranus (the Awakener) and give me a short reprieve. I have had quite a few Mercury Uranus contacts in my chart over the last few years too natal Mercury had a transit from Uranus which revived my astrology. Quite like them.

Mercury is a composite figure of the Greek God Hermes, the Babylonian God Nebo and the Egyptian Thoth ruler of magical transformation, transition and conduit of knowledge. Hermes in Greek myth was the only God who could travel through all of the realms from the sky to the underworld. In other words he allows us to communicate with all aspects of our being from the dark - to the light and translates all of our sensory data, perceptions as they shift into our conscious minds.
He also has a sense of humour, the trickster, prankster, shapeshifter - a very good reminder not to take ourselves too seriously. Mercury forever the teacher and in its retrograde cycle will ask us to become aware, to use our perceptions, see what it brings up from the unconscious, notice what illuminates our spirit. It is a very good time to learn more about our shadow side. Become the witness, open your awareness and perceptions and see what is the lesson behind these events.

I can imagine Mercury/Uranus would be quite awakening...
Thank you for the interpretation of Mercury really interesting it is so important to know what the point of Mercury rx is cos its easy to get caught up in the little annoying things about it...I guess balancing duality and being aware of our neg side is going to be especially important what with this one being in Gemini too..
I will have to look and see what contacts Merc is making to other planets...
