Snap! For maybe the first 20 years of my life I thought I was Cancer but could never work out why, in that case, I so disliked housework. Then had my horoscope cast properly and discovered I am actually Gemini which is actually pretty obvious. I think it all depends on your time and date of birth, but I think I do have Cancer in there too. (So three personalities for the price of one!)

yes, it can be confusing to read that.
When I look at a chart for someone, I can work out if their sun was in gemini or cancer if they have the time of birth, as then I can look in the ephemeris.
the sun changes signs at different times /dates each year
Soenthing to bear in mind is that if you are born on the cusp, by the same you are 1 or two years old, your sun will have progressed into the next sign. so you may be gemini at birth, but will soon have cancerian overtones
then around the age of 30 you will add overtones of leo as your sun will have progressed into leo, etc

well, i asked my mother What time was i born, 12:12 in the afternoon, how do mums remember the mins, but thats something else.
