Hi everyone thought I would start a new topic - What are you growing in your garden.

As for me I am growing marrows, 10 different varieites of courgettes, 8 different varieties of cucumber include Crystal Lemon and Cucumber Melon. Different kinds of tomatoes, also peppers, chillis celeriac, leeks, beetroot, strawberries and a lot of herbs.

Whilst on the subject of gardening if anyone would like to grow carrots, beetroot, onions and are happy to send me a stamped sae then I can send you some seeds (you will need to pm me, although I don'tk now yet if I am set up for pm!)

Jane 🙂

I have leek and courgette growing. Did have broccoli but every single plant but one was eaten by something... birds I think! This is my first time having a grow at gardening both flowers and veg so I will bear you in mind for any questions I might have 😀

Hi all,
just a couple of things rang a bell, courgettes are fantastic 'shaved' lengthwise into a frying pan with a potato peeler and gently fried until cooked with a bit of butter and black pepper. Also, even for those with limited space, try a seed tray of peas (buy whole dried peas from the supermarkets) and crop the shoots. The seeds can be densely planted - thay take about 10 days to cropping and are deee-lishious.
