Unfortunately I foundout the feotus had no heart beat, so I now need to go for a D&C.
I am so sad, I really wanted this baby, but I guess it wasnt meant to be.

I am new to this site but came across your post and wanted to say how sorry I am for your lose.
I myself had a miscarriage last year and know how heartbreaking it is more so because my partner and I so wanted a baby.
I remember blaming myself - feeling that I must have done something to cause it - but sadly these things happen (not that makes you feel any better)

So sorry to hear your sad news, I have had a history of Miscarriage and late loss, so I can understand how you are feeling.
There are no words that can take away the pain, but please know that it does get esier with time.

not sure if this will help you or not but I had a similar thing happen last year.
when I came home from having the D&C there was an email waiting from a friend. she had been sent it by another healer.
Basically what it said was:
Each soul is put on the Earth for the specific amount of time that it needs to learn the lessons and have the experiences it needs to move on to a higher existence. If someone lives to be 120, they have a lot to learn. If a child passes, they had little.
Hold on to the thought that you were the person chosen to hold, for the shortest time, one of the most special souls - one that was ready to move on to ahigher plane.
I thought about this, coupled with my other beliefs - everything we are given we can cope with and everything we experience, we experience for a reason, a lesson if you like - and it made me feel really special too.
........... made me cry like a baby mind you but special nevertheless.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage.
I also had a missed/silentmiscarriage and last week went in to have a D&C done.
The one thing that gave me reassurance is that I now have a little angel beside me that will be looking out for me and my partner and during future pregnancies.
